Pourtant, l&rsquo;usage des b\u00e2tons de marche ne va pas forc\u00e9ment de soi pour tout le monde. Certains pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent s&rsquo;en passer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors, les b\u00e2tons de marche sont-ils indispensables ? En tout cas, ils sont tr\u00e8s utiles dans de nombreuses situations. En s&rsquo;appuyant sur ses b\u00e2tons, on soulage ses membres inf\u00e9rieurs, en particulier ses genoux. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2- Faire travailler la musculature de l&rsquo;ensemble du corps<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Marcher avec des b\u00e2tons, c&rsquo;est utiliser ses bras et ses \u00e9paules pour soulager (un peu) les muscles des jambes. V\u00eatements, eau, alimentation, mat\u00e9riel de bivouac, tente, sac de couchage rendent le sac \u00e0 dos lourd&#8230; Les b\u00e2tons vont permettre de r\u00e9partir la charge et d&rsquo;apporter de la stabilit\u00e9. On pourra aussi utiliser dans cette configuration des chaussures montantes et rigides pour limiter le ballant li\u00e9 \u00e0 la charge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4- S&rsquo;\u00e9quilibrer dans les pentes et pierriers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les b\u00e2tons de marche seront tr\u00e8s utiles partout ou la d\u00e9clivit\u00e9 est importante. Ils sont donc tr\u00e8s utiles pour se donner un rythme, une cadence \u00e0 la mont\u00e9e, fournissant une progression r\u00e9guli\u00e8re et plus efficace, pour s&rsquo;\u00e9conomiser et repousser la fatigue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6- Monter un abri<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On peut utiliser les b\u00e2tons de marche pour monter un bivouac avec un Tarp, ou m\u00eame avec une simple couverture de survie. Il est vite fait de se fouler la cheville lors d&rsquo;un mauvais mouvement, m\u00eame si utiliser des b\u00e2tons nous apporte plus de stabilit\u00e9. En cas de p\u00e9pins en montagne, ou pourra utiliser son ou ses b\u00e2tons comme b\u00e9quille pour \u00e9viter de poser la jambe \u00e0 terre lors de la descente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8- Fabriquer une attelle ou un brancard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En groupe, il est possible de transporter une personne immobilis\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce aux b\u00e2tons de randonn\u00e9e. On peut utiliser un b\u00e2ton comme attelle pour immobiliser une jambe. Il est \u00e9galement possible de construire un brancard avec des b\u00e2tons de rando et une b\u00e2che ou couverture de survie, en y ajoutant par exemple un matelas mousse. Cela peut sembler anodin \u00e0 premi\u00e8re vue, sauf en situation, par exemple si vous vous baladez dans la vall\u00e9e d&rsquo;Av\u00e9role, cafie de vip\u00e8res au printemps&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montania-sport.com\/blog\/quel-equipement-pour-le-pacific-crest-trail-usa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sur le trek du PCT, Sophie avait l&rsquo;habitude de taper ses b\u00e2tons pour avertir les serpents \u00e0 sonnette de son arriv\u00e9e<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10- R\u00e9duire la fatigue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout simplement parce qu&rsquo;utiliser des b\u00e2tons, c&rsquo;est 30% d&rsquo;effort en moins pour les cuisses (quadriceps) ! Pour diff\u00e9rentes raisons \u00e9voqu\u00e9es plus haut, comme une meilleure r\u00e9partition de la charge et de l&rsquo;effort, l&rsquo;usage du b\u00e2ton permet de r\u00e9duire la fatigue g\u00e9n\u00e9rale en fournissant un appui solide, plus ou moins ergonomique et l\u00e9ger. Nous les avons \u00e9voqu\u00e9s plus haut : il permet de s&rsquo;\u00e9conomiser, de soulager ses articulations et de fournir un appui solide lors de passages scabreux, sur rocher, terre ou neige. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chez Montania, nous conseillons l&rsquo;usage de b\u00e2tons de randonn\u00e9e. Il est vrai que les b\u00e2tons ont leurs d\u00e9tracteurs : pour certains, \u00e7a fait vieux, pour d&rsquo;autres, ils seront encombrants, lourds, bruyants, ils vibrent&#8230; Cela dit, les b\u00e2tons sont utilis\u00e9s m\u00eame dans l&rsquo;univers du trail, o\u00f9 prime la l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9.
